Game Designers

There are a few designers with web pages out there on the ’net, and here are a couple that I have a certain amount of respect for.

Wilf Backhaus
Wilf is the creator of “Chivalry & Sorcery”, possibly the most complex role-playing system of all time. He’s working on a brand new edition of the game even now.
Greg Costikyan
Game Designer Greg Costikyan's home page, with loads of stuff, including his well-known article, “I Have No Words & I Must Design”.
Chris Crawford
Maker of the geopolitical game for the Macintosh, Balance of Power, and author of The Art of Computer Game Design.
Wolfgang Kramer
Kramer is responsible for such great games as “Daytona 500”, “6 Nimmt!”, “El Grande”, and “Tikal”.
The Great Games of Sid Sackson (Bob Claster)
Sid was probably the first person I’d ever heard of who made his living as a game designer. Since the moment I discovered that was possible, I wanted to be a game designer.
